well they dont come with the poppers at all, u have to add them, but the kit is suppose to be easy to intall and both doors can be done within the hour ready to pop the doors open.

they are actuators instead of solenoids. I don't really care for them personally. They were on Vic's 2dr blazer.

k...

i read alot about them and it seems to be nothing but good word on them, plus AVS stands behind their product with great customer service which is another reason i choose this kit, along with they are easy to install, plus they work with about most if not all alarms

well i thought they would be cooler when they went in, but what a nightmare i have had with the install. if i knew what i was doing on the whole taking everything apart on the door and getting the latch out wouldve been a big help but being a noob it took some time so i started this friday and tried to finish it up today....got everything installed and it was working and popping the doors like it should but not when my alarm was pressed...only when the power was touched to a 12v source did it work....then it stopped working and now i cant figure of what the hell is wrong with it. i took the kit back out reinstalled it, checked and switched the relays and even checked the fuse on the relay pack and it shows no signs of being blown..... so im lost for words, im tired, and i cant roll up my windows until i can get the shit working!

i guess i fried them idk....i just know that Kris at AVS said most likely they are gone and sounds like i fried them. so i had to shell out 60 bucks i really dont have to get new motors....wont have them until wednesday and then i can send the other ones back to see if they are covered by warrenty and if so they will refund the cash

now if only i can find that ignition wire to tap into i will be good when wednesday comes around

umm not to sure on how i fried them, but that is all they could conclude from what i was describing to them over the phone. i mean i took the actuator out and put the two wires coming off it onto my battery and nothing, no sound or movement from it at all. so i had to replace the motors like i said and try again, but this time i need to tap into the ignition wired(the red) one instead of the fuse box....
